Making a Calling Card Call

Place calls using your calling card in three easy steps:

1. Dial the toll-free access number

Usually printed in the upper left corner on the back of your calling card

2. Enter your authorization code

Your phone number + 4-digit pass code

3. Enter the phone number you want to call

For domestic calls, dial Area Code + Local Number + #

For international calls, dial (011) + Country Code + City Code + Local Number + #

If You Move

Stay connected in two easy steps:

1. Tell us you're moving

As soon as you know you're moving, give us your new address and the date of your move (and phone numbers if available). That way we can keep your calling cards active and forward your phone bill.

2. Contact your local phone company

Call your local phone company to disconnect your old numbers. When you know your new phone numbers, let us know what they are. We'll transfer the calling plans and convenient services you rely on. If you don't contact us directly with your new numbers, you'll lose these important features.

Changing Account Ownership

Before you remove your name from your account and have someone else take it over, Merit Telecom needs to verify that the new owner is ready to assume responsibility for payment. The easiest way to handle this is to call customer service at 866.877.4067 when both of you are available. A friendly customer service rep will collect the necessary information from each party, and the account instantly will be turned over to the new owner! If you like, you can call in by yourself to get the process started, and the new owner needs to call in within 10 days of your call.
