Selecting A Nonprofit

Examples of nonprofit organizations include those working for the arts, environment, child and family services, education, peace, historic preservation, health care, senior interests, and so forth. They must be working for the public good and not advocate violence, hatred, or intolerance

There are thousand of nonprofits. Some are large national organizations, many are small local organizations, working at the community level. You can choose either type, but we encourage you to look within your own community - schools, community centers, youth organizations, senior programs and so forth - all are working with very limited budgets.

Merit Telecom has a database of all nonprofits in the US, by zip code and area of interest. If you need some suggestions, give us a call. We are happy to help.

"Corporate executives must recognize there is no contradiction between a soft heart and a hard head. Of course, they have responsibilities to stockholders, but they also have responsibilities to their employees, their customers, and to society as a whole."

Robert S. McNamara
